Well Jamie I gave it one more try. Still no connection use hamlib with ACLOG. Surely there is a way otherwise the Kenwood would not be in rig settings of WSJT-x.

WSJTx 2.5.4 Uncommanded Exit
#wsjt-x-crashing
I upgraded from 2.5.3 to 2.5.4. When I start 2.5.4, it runs for approximately 15 seconds, then exits. This is on an i7 computer, Win 10 Home, 64 bit.
Any idea what is causing the problem, and more

Paths perpendicular to the direction the meteors are traveling are best and parallel paths are poor.
Elevation of the shower gradient is best from 0 degrees (shower rise or set) up to about 60

Thanks, got it !
My old brain had trouble understand the complete QSO concept. Meteor Scatter sounds interesting to me. I may give it a try.

The meteors are making ionized trails, which reflect RF. The more meteors, the more reflections, the better the propagation, and hence the faster the QSO can progress.

Hi Dan:
Meteor Scatter (MS) is easy and fun but contacts can take time because you have to wait for the next “rock”. Patience is the watchword. It is common in meteor scatter for QSOs to take
