I have a 12KW array with a single 10KW SMA inverter at my 'other' QTH, but I haven't set up my HF rig here (definitely a 2022 project!), but other than cleaning up the wire routing and fastening it

For FT8 I have been using a Lenovo think centre M10. Seems to work well and was £100 of e-bay, an ex cooperate device with an i5 8GB RAM and a 500GB SSD.

I've heard the same. In addition to the fact that design of those inverters that ignore EMC, the manner in which these systems are installed is a major contributor.

There is a problem that when using mode FT4, WSJT-X disables the ability to use RRR.
As explained in one of the previous emails, even during a single QSO, the signalvariance within that short time

Mike, I like that idea of reverting to RRR on weak signals. Then after the Log QSO, it can go back to RR73. Maybe it might happen someday.

Did you try a power cycle?
I've had several different RS-232 interfaces lock up and reboots did not fix the problem, but
powering off both ends solved it. It was a rare occurrence.

I seem to remember that the systems which use a separate inverter for each panel, tends to be noisier than the ones that just have a single inverter and all of the panels are wired to that one
