Yes, I like the PTT method too. I added a kill switch in the PTT line so I can kill the tx when something goes bonk.

VOX is a poor man's way of doing things, with issues and false triggering. I use real PTT circuits. Only I simplify by using the common CM108 sound card to do it natively in every application.

If Meinberg won’t start, is it giving an error message? One way to find out: Launch a Command Prompt with Run as Administrator. That will give you admin privileges to start/stop/restart
