do you have additional software for time sync. check your clock at time.is to see if your clock is off greater than 2.5 seconds ( critical)
try using dimension4, meinberg, or any other available

A shift of 500Hz (that’s HERTZ not KILOHERTZ!) is completely normal. It allows the program to generate the tones at a higher frequency to keep harmonics outside the TX passband.

Are you sure it shifts 500Khz !! thats going put your signals way outside any band we have I fear !!!
Not being an expert, but the only time I have noticed a similar problem with decodes, is that

I agree with you and Peter, it is definitely not RFI.
I lost the output with 1 or 2 watts output from my FT-857 and even lost it while transmitting into a 50-ohm load. Sometimes I can switch back

Hi
I have over the years used a RPI for WSJT-X, mostly for FT8 and MSK144. The "speed" of the RPI is on the margin but when #4 was introduced I had no issues to run WSJT-X in deep mode

Hi Bill, Regin hope you don't mind me replying.
I have discussed this very briefly on
ON4KST chat.
In these chats we are asking Regin to try q65 so I think he is trying to install 2.4 or later

As Bill said, only QRZ and CQ is watched for.
You also don’t say whether you decoded the P5 or not. One thing for sure, if you don’t hear him, you can’t work him and it shouldn’t say

Hi Wes,
P5ABC would have shown up earlier for you, when calling GW3DEF, and would have been highlighted. Good luck with the pileup!
You might also want to look at JTAlert.

I AM an expert on RFI, and I find the "knee-jerk" blame it on RFI unhelpful when there's no good reason to blame it based on the limited symptoms provided. Yes, many hams DO fail to do proper bonding

If there is a temporary interruption in the USB audio then it seems WSJT-X stops. A restart brings it back.
