Automatic power up of rig
#WSJTX_config
Hi,
With V2.2.2 (and/or with any symbiotic software) is there any setting that will prevent automatically requesting/forcing the rig to power up?

Hi Jon,
do not run WSJT-X with elevated privileges, there's no good reason to do that.
To run multiple instances of WSJT-X concurrently you must use the --rig-name= command line

Hi David,
not sure on the frequency for you in the US, we probably added it as a straw man placeholder. When you use the N1MM Logger+ integration it starts a separate instance of WSJT-X with its own

Is the frequency of 1296.065 good for FT8? It's not one of the modes mentioned in the default list for that band. Need to know for the contest this weekend.
Also, when setting up N1MM and WSJTX

Yep, Michael your reply is the first thing I thought of when I read the original query, I have used that same technique to make a qso with new area or grid. 73 // John K3NOQ
