It worked here for a few minutes and then returned.
I shut down JTalert and it went away.
I just installed the latest version of JTalert, so It looks like it’s coming from that application.

In the past, this issue was diagnosed as related to deep decoding and the workaround was to change Decode to Fast. I don't know if that still works now or not but it is worth a try. I have made a

I found that somehow JT-Alert had gotten the “ITU Zone” alert turned on.
Cleared that check mark and the green is gone!
I should have realized that dark green is not a color choice in WSJT-X!

I swapped some monitors and USB sound cards around in my PC today, and ended up returning to the original configuration.
Now when I run WSJT-x V 2.2.0, all of the 73 and RR73 texts are

Re: Radio disconnects from USB when WSJT start transmitting
An easy way to tell is by reducing your transmit power. If the issue stops, it is an RF issue. The odds are very good that it is.

Same situation here... Win 7 Ultimate, no other programs open... FT8 is fine, FT4 has crashed 13 times in 4 hours............. VERY FRUSTRATING !!!!!!!

It’s RFI. Same thing happens with almost all USB cables on my 705. The 705 is super sensitive to RFI. You’ll need ferrites on your cables. And if you use an amp, you’ll need a choke on the RF
