Hi Lars,
the information in the thread you link above is incorrect. Older 32-bit versions of WSJT-X for Windows did have a Pwr slider that adjusted the Windows sound mixer level for the application

I got answer from the RS-918 group. The solution is to calibrate PA TX up to 5 watt when sending FT8 - for the band(s) you would like to

Thanks Bill. Well, I don't think the laptop has any trouble decoding; it lists many decodes and they're consistent with how many sigs I see on the waterfall (or don't see where the snr is very low

Re: F/H Decodes
Hi Chuck,
In case you mean that you see strong signal above 1000 Hz, but no decodes of those, then have you ‘Rx All Freqs’ unticked (above Hound red sign).

Hi John,
Decoding manual CW is not a particularly mathematical problem. The problem will be working out what are dots and dashes and inter-letter breaks, especially if the sender is not

Thank you Bill,
yes I have looked several times and follow the steps in the pinned post. And it is no problem if using the IC-705. So I hope someone reading this have a RS-918 or mcHF type of radio
