Re: [wsjtgroup] Re: CAT control Doppler Calculations above 1296 MHz band incorrect in WSJT-X
It's a problem with hamlib.
Here's a patch that should fix it...was going to send this to the hamlib group too. This was overlooked when adding the new 11-char FB command. get_freq is OK as it scans

WSJT-X Usage
For fun I used the wayback machine to pull some historical numbers from PSKReporter. Looks like the WSJT-X "market share" is on a steady increase.

Re: setting frequency
If the other OM is not using WSJT-X then JT9 is not an option!
JT65-HF uses a base frequency of dial + 1500Hz I believe. In WSJT-X the DF on the main screen is correct with respect to the dial

Re: setting frequency
What kind of QSY message are you sending/receiving? Can you show an example?
Normally you'd just do it by band. The offset doesn't really matter.

Mike....
seems i didn't formulate my query very well. it's not about getting the other op's attention. i can't figure out how to calculate the desired frequency for the QSY.

I try a message through JTAlert first...no reply then I send an email. Email seems to work about 50% of the time. I find it's best if you can message on JTAlert since it's faster...just gave to be

Hi Stephen,
glad to here that, thanks for the update.
With that version you can enable the UDP messaging in WSJT-X in "Settings->Reporting" and JTAlert will use it. That also allows replies to CQ

Hi Stephen,
one cause for that is having one of the cooperating applications (WSJT-X or DXKeeper) installed in "C:\Program FIles" or "C:\Program Files (x86)" or having one of the applications

Re: WSJT-X 1.6 & DXKeeper
Hello Bill
Stations being logged by WSJT-X 1.6 are not being "seen " by JTAlert-X.
I had thought that JTAlert-X 2.4 was the latest and that JTAlert 2.6.27 is for JT65-HF, but will check it out.

Hi Stephen,
the latest version of JTAlert is 2.6.27, I would advise that you update.
Can you be more specific about what is not being captured by what please?

Re: pskreporter not working
I'm still having this issue with both pskreporter and hamspots.
the reporting option is checked in settings. HRD reporting is working.
I manually added wstjx executables to Comodo firewall allow list.

Contrary to popular belief, the most common fault is kvasd.exe not functioning properly, i wouldn't mind betting that the filesize is 0 bytes. either download the file and place it in the default
