Yes. DXKeeper is a wonderful logger, and I've used it as my general logger since getting back on the air in 2003. I do exactly as Dave suggests, exporting my contest logs to DXKeeper after each contest, using DXKeeper to interact with LOTW, eQSL, and ClubLog, which it does almost automagically. I also find several of the other apps in Dave's DXLab integrated suite of programs useful. And they are all bug-free, well supported, and FREE! Thanks very much, Dave!

Hi All,
Running v2 3 1 on Win 10 with a IC 7300. Had a major crash after running flawlessly for months, but managed to get things back, BUT, all the colours in the panes have reset, I can’t seem to get the worked before stations to show up. I have the “show DXCC, grid, and worked before status” All my worked stations are still showing in the log adi file. Any ideas appreciated Phil G8PJH

You can merge ADIF files using any text editor as long as you keep the lines between each <EOR> together.

Hi All,
As I have seen a few threads regarding adi files merge questions. I am just finishing an enhancement to my Alltext.exe program to facilitate appending ADIF records from one adi file to another. The program will take care so that no duplicates will exists in the destination file no matter how many times the same files are used. Should be ready before the weekend.

-----Original Message----- Hi Radi, Just use any text editor such as Notepad. You need to open using that text editor program as you got Adifmaster installed. Cut and paste or copy and paste as appropriate from one log file to another one. Save the result so that Windows don’t add .txt to the filename or remove .txt by renaming the combined file. Remember to check that you have only a single header (or none) at the beginning of the file. Of course that method may be more complicated, if the QSOs you want amend are distributed all over the source file. I think that also adif generate by the Adifmaster will be ok. You may take copies of the adif files and experiment by those. 73, Reino OH3mA

Tx Rx frequency changes
#FT8

Looking for input....when I'm trying to run a CQ my Tx/Rx frequency changes to the frequency of the last contact that I made. I pick a spot in the waterfall and double click ctrl, the red/green brackets move, the frequency shows in the appropriate boxes, I put out a CQ and the frequencies shift back to the one from the last contact showing in the right hand window...Have I forgotten to check something somewhere? Or is this a program bug?
I go back and change the frequency to another clear spot and it shifts back to the previous freq again? Input please Ron WA8KQF

Hi Andy,
Yes, the mp_* routines are there to do slow-but sure multiple-precision arithmetic. This is necessary because we need to save a 71-bit result of the packing operation. I just wrote a simple Fortran test program that you can use to help yourself figure out what is going on. You can download it here, compile it for yourself, and then work out how to re-write it in C (or whatever). https://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/k1jt/t1.f90 -- 73, Joe, K1JT

Another way of doing it is that since you using JTAlert, you can
set the B4 date to disregard any QSOs prior to the date of the
start of the contest. You would then also adjust the checkboxes
on the B4 settings to ignore band or mode, etc.
