I found the problem. I installed WSJT-X on the laptop and everything worked fine, in that process I found that the USB cable that was plugged into the main computer was bad. I replaced it before I set up the laptop. I put cables back on the main computer and restarted WSJT and made a contact on FT4, I then switched to FT8 and WALA it worked fine. I thank everyone for the help. GOD BLESS all of you. I'll be looking for you all on FT8. 73, Bill NC4MI ----------------------------------------- From: "Bill"To: "WSJTX@groups.io" Cc: Sent: Friday February 28 2020 10:38:17AM Subject: Re: [WSJTX] FT8 quit working #ft8 I checked the tone and the 2x was checked. I turned it off and then tried a FT4 contact and it worked fine. Then tried calling several stations on FT8. NO luck. I'm going to install WSJT-x on my laptop and see what happens. 73, NC4MI ------------------------------------From: "KF7NN" Cc: Sent: Thursday February 27 2020 8:53:58PM Subject: Re: [WSJTX] FT8 quit working #ft8 do you have the 2 tone thing turned on ie.tone spacing in settings may be set to 4? Also what are the menu settings in the radio and settings for the audio settings in the PC.
