Just checked...RPORT GAIN does work on my rig (MAIN version V01-09), when on USB with SSB MOD SOURCE set to REAR/USB.
The transmit level seems about the same as on DATA-U. I have RPORT GAIN at 70 and WSJT-X power slider at about -20 dB, with Windows volume for the USB CODEC near -30 dB.
