X64 AMD 8 core processor, 3.5 years old, 16 GB of RAM
Sometimes the behavior happens 2 or 3 times a day, other times I can go a week with no occurrences.
Running six instances of WSJT-X: two using SignLink, three using installed sound cards in the rigs (IC7300 x 2, IC 705), and one using KiwiSDR audio.
The observed behavior is that WSJT-X stops decoding for one or both of the SignaLink devices. The waterfall is frozen. There is a signal showing on the control panel as coming through, but nothing gets decoded. I have to kill and relaunch the WSJT-X instances to recover.
This never occurs with the ICOM 7300 rigs or the IC-705 rig. It never happens with the KiwiSDR RX signal either.
I have tried everything I can think of (power, USB standby options, etc.) but I can’t find the root cause.
