Hi all,

Well, I changed the update period in D4 to 15min and after a long session on the radio this afternoon, I had only one missing period, but that may have been down to a very strong signal (bad audio tones too!) which deafened the receiver.

So, it looks as though a longer time between time sync's has solved my problem!

Thanks to all for the various suggestions.....

I believe the WSJT-X User Guide recommends that you use the closest time server. It takes 0.13 seconds for light to circumnavigate the earth. Add in time for hops and switches, and this sounds like good advice.

I will add that there are some dodgy time servers around and you keep a
close eye on your OT or use time.is for a while.
