There is no need to run arcp software while running WSJT.  I operate WSJT-X modes just fine running WSJT-X software stand-alone just using a USB cable to connect my TS-590SG to a Windows 10 or LINUX computer.

why do you need arcp software running, while doing digital??
I use the db9 for cat, and the usb port for wsjtx.  i do not run the
arcp software unless I do cw ( rarely) or need some changes in the
radio ( rarely)
