Hi Tim, I have an IC7600 and it works fine using CAT PTT.  RTS and DTR won't do anything unless you have the appropriate hardware connected. Have you tried transmitting on low power to check for RFI? By the way, you should always use rig split or fake it to avoid harmonics in the pass band.
