I can confirm it. I use FT-817 also and version 2.3.1. I control my FT-817 directly from WSJT-X without any intermediate app. I found Split "Fake It" does not work (it was already reported) and
I tried to switch to "Rig". Regardless the band VFOa is switched to, VFOb stays on 7 MHz. CAT test passes OK and the circle around S is in green. So, I guess there is a bug related to Split in 2.3.1.
