Hi,
The goal here is not to find a place to put files that should not be there in the first place elsewhere, (to protect hardware), but to let the developers know there is a chance there is an issue with the software writing files after being told not too.

That is however a great idea, and I will implement it on my system, for exactly the same reasons... I run an SSD as well! I had not even thought of that aspect... Thanks for the idea!
