WSJT-X v2.4.0 RC-1 keeps crashing on me with a report "Sub-process error failed to close orphaned jt9 process" when I click on "OK" another error box comes up "Fatal error Sub-process error".
The only way out is to reboot Windows and restart WSJT-X v2.4.0 RC-1 until it crashes again.

rather than rebooting Windows, try killing any jt9 process left running using Task Manager, then restart WSJT-X and report any error message that causes, including the details. For your convenience you can copy the full text of any error message box from WSJT-X to the Windows clipboard by hitting Ctrl+C as soon as the message box appears.
