I have the same problem. I had been using JTDX for a year or so and wanted to transition back to using WSJT-X but apparently it quit working with ICOM radios during that time. Using Wireshark I discovered that WSJT-X was trying to use the "v" command (get_vfo) command with Hamlib and that command is rejected by Hamlib as an unsupported feature so WSJT-X gives up on trying to configure the rig.
