Long story - longer. Just changed internet providers from T-mobile hot spot to ATT Wireless Internet (we're out in the county - wireless or sat is the only solution). After your comment I checked and sure enough the LAN time was as much as 15 seconds behind WWVB. Lesson learned. Don't assume anything. Tnx. BillB W7WMB
