Locked Re: WSJT-x and Zoom

Windows is taking a shortcut too far. You have configured wsjtx to use USB Codec. Windows thinks(?) this is the default, so wsjtx wants to use the default. It remembers this even if the default changes. I repeat: Do not allow the port you use for the radio to be the PCs default unless you have no other port connected.

I think the important thing to note from my experience with Zoom is that it is clearly possible for something to change the audio device settings that WSJT-x uses WITHOUT Wsjt-x knowing about it. The WSJT-x transmit audio was clearly going to the speakers (I could hear the tones) and not the radio interface (no Tx power output) yet when I opened the WSJT-x settings it showed the Rx and Tx audio set to USBcodec.
