I've found BktTimeSync to be a handy way to keep your clock synced.  It supports both or either of ntp or NMEA messages from a gps puck plugged into a usb port.  Even if you have neither gps or ntp available, you can adjust quite accurately with this app by:

1 - getting to within a second of utc by doing a Manual Sync together with time sigs from WWV, CHU or other OTA clocks.

2 - fine tuning the PC clock until the observed average of DT's is around zero.

BktTimeSync is a bit buggy but it works ok if left alone once you have it working.
