Running non supported software, is never a good idea. Just because a piece of software still works, does not necessarily make it the best, or even a good choice for use.

In fact, non supported software should not be used at all, especially when supported software exists, that does the same job, as reliability as the non supported software.

Unless a support channel comes to light very soon for D4, (which I doubt), and based on what I have seen so far, I will be moving on to BKTtimesync as a test.

It would have been nice to have had D4 put into open source prior to the removal of support.

All of that said, does anyone know what the authors site for download of BKTtimesync is?

With just about any cheap GPS you can dump the internet and all it's problems by running BKTtimesync which was written by a ham.
