Dick,

When your computer slows down, use Task Manager to see what is using the most memory. Incidentally, how much memory does your laptop have? You might also want to see how much cpu is being used. Disk use also.

Greetings All

I am running a DELL laptop E6510 running W7 SW here at CN98pi where all reporting to PSKReporter
and email is over a satellite link.

What I have been experiencing the past few days is the available memory is somehow consumed
and the computer becomes very  s l u g g i s h  and in some cases stops running.

Today I have had to shut-down and restart the computer three times after the memory has been
virtually all consumed.

When I restart, the following applications show up  in the TASK MANAGER window:

-Voicemeeter Banana
- OpenHPSDR mRX PS v3.4.7 (under File==>save ==> NONE is selected)
WSJT-X v2.1.0

Any suggestions of where to 'look' to see what may be consuming all the memory
will be appreciated.

I use this laptop at another QTH where a fiber-link to the internet world is used
and I have experienced this behavior only a few times in the past year.
